Alcohol Awareness Month
April is National Alcohol Awareness Month, situated squarely between spring break partying and the upcoming prom and graduation season. According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), youth binge and heavy drinking rates were 8.8 and 2.0 percent, respectively.
Roughly 1,700 college students between the ages of 18 and 24 die each year from alcohol-related unintentional injuries, including motor vehicle crashes.
Narconon has drug prevention and education programs for students in grade school through college and even for the workplace. Narconon presenters speak to more than 500,000 young people per year internationally. There are also drug education videos available, one of which focuses on alcohol and the media that are viewed by millions more people each year in the U.S. and abroad.
The Narconon drug education curriculum was studied and the results published in the peer-reviewed journal Substance Abuse Treatment, Prevention and Policy in 2008. The study showed that there were significant reductions measured for alcohol, particularly reducing heavy drinking.

Recipe for Enchiladas Verdes -Green Enchiladas
Ingredients
PAM(r) Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
1 jar (16.75 oz) Rosarita(r) Medium Salsa Verde, divided
3 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
12 corn tortillas (6 inch)
Directions
• Preheat oven to 375˚F. Spray 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Spread ? cup of the salsa over bottom of dish; set aside.
• Combine chicken, ? cup of the salsa and ? cup of the cheese in a medium bowl; mix well. Set aside.
• Spray both sides of each tortilla with cooking spray. Heat one at a time in skillet over medium-high heat on both sides until slightly puffy and softened.
• Top each tortilla evenly with about ? cup chicken mixture; roll up. Place seam-side down in prepared baking dish. Cover with the remaining salsa; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cover baking dish with aluminum foil.
• Bake 30 minutes or until cheese melts and sauce is bubbly.
The salsas are available at Walmart and select Kroger and Safeway grocery stores.
